John is an Ann Arbor resident and father of three young kids, the oldest in AAPS at King Elementary.
He has 25 years experience in finance, particularly building risk monitoring, budget forecasting tools, and governance structures. He is currently employed in Investment Operations at an Ann Arbor pension with 60 billion dollars in assets.
He loves his children and Ann Arbor, and wants to see financial oversight and review processes improve at AAPS and has been doing just that already in 2026. Through detailed research and public comments at AAPS Board meetings, current Trustees and the Administration’s newly hired financial officer are referencing John’s open consultations in live practice at meetings.
